Inspection and certification provider Bureau Veritas has acquired ArcVera Renewables, a provider of finance-grade consulting and technical services for wind, solar and energy storage projects.
The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed by the companies.
Bureau Veritas aims to enhance its capabilities, particularly in North America, and aid stakeholders in the energy sector in achieving their project goals.
Bureau Veritas chief executive Hinda Gharbi stated: “The acquisition of ArcVera Renewables supports our LEAP | 28 strategy, aimed at expanding our services and strengthening our position as a leader in the renewables and power generation sector.

ArcVera Renewables offers technical site and resource assessments, as well as consultancy services throughout the development and operational phases of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Its engineering team and technical experts assist clients in minimising risks and maximising the performance of their assets.
ArcVera Renewables has supported 9GW of solar projects across North and South America.
The company has also played a key role in evaluating sites that now represent an impressive 93GW of wind capacity in the US alone.
