The Gaoshan series features a striking and upscale exterior. Its front design showcases a prominent vertical-slat grille with extensive chrome accents, creating a refined look. The “Galaxy Stream” headlights blend seamlessly with the grille, enhancing the vehicle’s modern and wide stance.
From the side, the Gaoshan models adopt a floating roof design and include power-operated sliding doors for convenience. The Gaoshan 7 measures 5 meters in length with a 3,085 mm wheelbase. The Gaoshan 8 exceeds 5.2 meters with a 3,145 mm wheelbase, and the Gaoshan 9, the largest variant, reaches 5.4 meters with a 3,275 mm wheelbase, providing generous interior space across all models.
The rear design incorporates a bamboo forest-inspired aesthetic, with layered taillights that create dynamic light patterns. When lit, the taillights resemble sunlight filtering through bamboo leaves, adding an elegant and natural touch to the vehicle’s appearance.
Inside, the Gaoshan’s cabin draws inspiration from the traditional Huīzhōu architectural style, featuring flying eaves elements. A dual-screen display with a 91-degree viewing angle, a 22.4-degree downward tilt, and a 56.3-degree horizontal field of vision ensures both functionality and visual appeal.
The Gaoshan series is powered by Great Wall Motor’s Hi4 Performance Edition, an intelligent electric-hybrid all-wheel-drive system. This combines a hybrid parallel setup with a four-speed transmission and dual electric motors on both axles. The system produces up to 337 kW of power and 644 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The Gaoshan 9 includes a 51.55 kWh battery, offering a WLTC-rated electric range of 201 kilometers.
Great Wall Motor stated: “The all-new Gaoshan family combines advanced technology, luxurious design, and powerful performance to meet the needs of modern drivers.”
