On April 15, XPeng hosted its first global-oriented brand launch event in Hong Kong, China, showcasing advancements in flying cars, AI robotics, and automotive technology. The company announced that its Turing AI chip will enter mass production in the second quarter of 2025, enabling enhanced vehicle intelligence. An XPeng representative stated: “The XPENG Turing AI chip will enter mass production and be installed in vehicles starting in the second quarter this year.”
During the event, XPeng introduced the 2025 XPeng X9, available in four variants: 650 Max (long range), 740 Max (extra-long range), 702 Max (dual-motor high performance), and the Starship edition. Priced between 359,800 yuan and 419,800 yuan, the X9 targets diverse consumer preferences with its advanced features and performance capabilities.
At AUTO SHANGHAI 2025 in April, XPeng launched the P7+ Ultra Long-Range Max Flagship edition. This model features a 5C ultra-fast charging AI-enabled battery and an intelligent adaptive damping system, designed to optimize range and driving comfort. The P7+ has achieved significant production milestones, with 50,000 units manufactured within five months of its debut.
Additionally, the XPeng MONA M03 model surpassed 100,000 cumulative deliveries by April 2025, reflecting its popularity among consumers. These milestones underscore XPeng’s ability to scale production and meet growing market demand for innovative electric vehicles.
