During the earnings call, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing stated: “This quarter is the best in Xiaomi’s history.” He credited the success to the company’s integrated “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem strategy, which drove strong performance across all business segments.
Revenue from Xiaomi’s smart electric vehicles (EVs), artificial intelligence, and other innovative businesses totaled 18.6 billion yuan in Q1 2025. Smart EVs accounted for 18.1 billion yuan, with the remaining 500 million yuan from related ventures. The gross profit margin for these businesses improved to 23.2%, compared to 12.6% in the same period last year, while operating losses decreased to 500 million yuan.
Xiaomi EV delivered 75,869 units of its SU7 series in Q1 2025, with monthly deliveries surpassing 20,000 units for six consecutive months. Since its launch, the SU7 series has achieved cumulative deliveries of over 258,000 units. From January to April 2025, Xiaomi EV sold over 100,000 vehicles, representing nearly 30% of its annual target of 350,000 units.
On May 22, 2025, Xiaomi EV introduced its first SUV model, the YU7, named “御7” in Chinese, designed as a luxury high-performance SUV. The vehicle is scheduled to enter the market in July 2025, with pricing details to be disclosed at the launch.
