The MAEXTRO S800, launched on May 30, 2025, is available in four variants: Starwave Premium, Starlight Premium, Starwave Executive, and Starlight Executive. It offers battery electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) powertrains for select trims, with prices ranging from 708,000 yuan to 1.018 million yuan. The sedan saw strong demand, securing over 1,000 confirmed orders within an hour, 1,600 within 24 hours, and exceeding 5,000 orders by day 19 post-launch.
The S800 features a sleek design with intelligent electric doors equipped with millimeter-wave radar and solid-state LiDAR sensors for obstacle detection and adaptive door angles up to 77 degrees. It also includes a smart welcome light carpet. Measuring 5,480 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and 1,542 mm high, with a 3,370 mm wheelbase, the sedan ensures spacious interiors.
Technologically, the S800 introduces the HUAWEI ADS 4.0 advanced driver-assistance system and operates on the WEWA architecture for enhanced responsiveness and smooth lane changes. Built on the Turing Longxing platform, it predicts road conditions and provides intelligent stability assistance for safety. The vehicle’s powertrains feature HUAWEI DriveOne 800V high-voltage silicon carbide electric motors, with the dual-motor setup delivering 390 kW and the tri-motor version reaching 635 kW. The REEV variant offers a total range of up to 1,333 km, while the BEV achieves a CLTC-rated range of 702 km.
