The company has set ambitious targets for growth by the end of fiscal 2027. Waaree plans to scale its solar module manufacturing capacity to 25.7 GW per year, increase solar cell production to 15.4 GW, and establish 10 GW of ingot and wafer production capacity. These expansions aim to strengthen Waaree’s position in the renewable energy sector by enhancing its upstream and downstream operations.
In addition to solar manufacturing, Waaree Energies is diversifying into energy storage and green hydrogen technologies. The company is developing a 3.5 GWh lithium-ion storage cell and energy storage system production line to support the growing demand for energy storage solutions. Furthermore, Waaree is establishing a 3 GW solar inverter manufacturing facility to complement its PV operations and a 300 MW electrolyzer unit to advance green hydrogen initiatives.
These efforts reflect Waaree Energies’ commitment to expanding India’s renewable energy infrastructure. By increasing production capacities and diversifying into complementary technologies, the company aims to meet rising domestic and global demand for clean energy solutions. The new facility in Chikhli and the planned expansions are expected to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy goals, fostering sustainable growth and innovation in the sector.
