The IM L6, launched on May 13, 2025, is a mid-to-large premium all-electric sedan offered in four trim levels, with a starting price of 219,900 yuan and a limited-time introductory price of 204,900 yuan. It features the proprietary Agile Lizard Digital Chassis and a four-wheel steering system with an 18-degree rear-wheel turning angle, achieving a turning radius of 4.69 meters. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the IM L6 ensures efficient performance.
The IM L6’s exterior design includes a refined front with a raised logo and a compact LiDAR sensor to reduce drag. It is available in six colors: Ares Black, Nevis Blue, Raphael Brown, Ferdinand Pink, Matisse Red, and Morandi Purple, with the latter two being new additions. The interior features a T-shaped dashboard with a retractable panoramic display spanning the cabin’s width, integrating the instrument cluster and central screen while maintaining an independent passenger display. The vehicle runs on the upgraded IMOS 4.0 operating system and offers a choice between a semi-spoke “soft-touch” steering wheel and a full-spoke version, along with a new comfort-focused front passenger “space seat.”
Performance is driven by silicon carbide-based Hurricane electric motors, enhancing efficiency and charging speed. The Ultra variant delivers 579kW of power and 800N·m of torque, while the Max and Max+ variants provide 245kW, and the Pro Max variant offers 300kW.
IM Motors maintained a steady battery electric vehicle (BEV) strategy in the first half of 2025 but plans to expand its range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) offerings in the second half. On August 1, 2025, the company introduced its Hengxing super range-extended technology, featuring a 66kWh battery designed for REEV models. This system supports a CLTC battery-powered range exceeding 450 kilometers and 800V ultra-fast charging for improved energy replenishment.
The company’s advancements in vehicle design and technology, combined with its July sales performance, position IM Motors as a growing player in the new energy vehicle market, catering to diverse consumer needs with innovative electric and range-extended solutions.
