The first project, Ladenthin, is located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and will include six V162 wind turbines with a total capacity of 43.2MW. There is also potential to add three more units in the future. The project has been in development with Energie-Projekt-Nord since 2013 and was approved following a legal process. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
The second initiative is the Kerspleben repowering project in Thuringia. This development involves replacing eight older turbines with six modern V172 turbines, each rated at 7.2MW, totaling 43.2MW. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Alterric.
According to the project partners, these approvals represent continued progress in enhancing wind energy capacity throughout Europe.
