The new facility aims to strengthen local manufacturing capabilities in Saudi Arabia, enabling faster response times and tailored solutions for customers in Saudi and Middle Eastern markets. By producing locally, ZTT seeks to support the region’s green energy infrastructure and contribute to sustainable development goals.
“This investment reflects our confidence in the market’s potential and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s industrial diversification goals,” ZTT stated. “We look forward to powering sustainable growth through localized manufacturing partnerships!”
The initiative is expected to foster industrial development by creating opportunities for collaboration and improving access to advanced cable and system solutions for energy and infrastructure projects across the region.
In a related development, ZTT announced earlier this month that it has started construction on an advanced cable-laying vessel (CLV) designed to support offshore wind, island interconnections, and grid expansion projects in the Asia Pacific region. The vessel, measuring 139.8 meters in length with a 38-meter beam, will feature diesel generators with electric drive, DP2 dynamic positioning systems, a helicopter platform, large coaxial turntables, and dual-launch channels.
By establishing a manufacturing base in Saudi Arabia and investing in advanced equipment, ZTT aims to meet the growing demand for reliable energy infrastructure while supporting regional economic and environmental objectives.
