The M817 is powered by a plug-in hybrid system, integrating a 1.5T engine with electric motors in a P1+P3+P4 electric all-wheel-drive architecture. This setup supports multiple modes, including pure electric, direct engine drive, parallel hybrid, range-extending generator, and regenerative braking. The system delivers 505 kW of power and 848 N·m of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, balancing efficiency with high performance.
The M817’s launch reflects MHERO Technology’s commitment to advancing new energy vehicles for challenging environments. By leveraging Huawei’s intelligent systems and Dongfeng’s manufacturing expertise, the SUV aims to meet growing consumer demand for sustainable, high-performance off-road vehicles in China and potentially beyond.
