Before launch, the Leapmotor B10 has undergone a one million-kilometer testing program across 200 cities in 18 countries, including locations in Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia. These trials were designed to ensure the model’s reliability and adaptability under diverse and demanding road and climate conditions.
The B10 has been developed under a “global standards plus local optimization” strategy. Leapmotor emphasized that the vehicle complies with the regulatory requirements of 53 countries and regions, while also being fine-tuned to reflect the driving preferences and needs of local markets.
To enhance durability in varied climates, Leapmotor established a global weather database covering 195 major cities. This resource includes meteorological, geographic, and road-condition data, which the company used to validate the B10’s battery and performance across extreme environments.
The chassis of the B10 was jointly refined by Leapmotor engineers and specialists from Stellantis through collaboration between China and Europe. Using advanced simulators, the teams calibrated the vehicle to align with local driving habits in different markets, aiming to provide region-specific handling and comfort.
The B10’s arrival in Europe signals a new phase of Leapmotor’s international expansion. The SUV will gradually enter over 20 global markets during 2025, including regions in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America. Europe, however, remains a key focus. The vehicle will be priced at €29,900, approximately 250,000 yuan, and will go on sale at the Munich auto show in September.
Leapmotor has seen increasing momentum overseas. Between January and July 2025, the company exported 24,980 vehicles. In July alone, European orders exceeded 4,000 units, marking a record high according to data from the China Passenger Car Association. The company now operates in more than 30 countries and regions and maintains a global network of over 1,500 sales and service outlets, including more than 550 across Europe.
Aligned with its international strategy, the Leapmotor B10 is positioned as a model designed to meet global expectations while incorporating local adaptations. Its launch at IAA MOBILITY and subsequent deliveries will be a significant step in expanding the company’s presence in Europe and beyond. Through technological collaboration, extensive testing, and strategic pricing, Leapmotor is advancing its goal of becoming a recognized global player in the electric vehicle market.
