The P7 lineup features four variants: the 702 Ultra long-range model at 219,800 yuan ($30,700), the 820 Ultra super-long-range at 239,800 yuan, the 750 Ultra all-wheel-drive performance version at 259,800 yuan, and the premium 750 Ultra Wing Edition with scissor doors at 301,800 yuan. These options cater to diverse consumer preferences with enhanced performance and range capabilities.
Maintaining its sleek, coupe-like design, the P7 offers six exterior color options and three interior themes for greater personalization. The cabin includes a 23-speaker 7.1.4 surround sound system, redesigned seats for improved comfort, ample storage, and a triple-layer panoramic roof with certified sun protection, blending practicality with luxury.
Advanced technology defines the new P7. It is equipped with XPENG’s Turing AI chip, delivering 2,250 TOPS of computing power, and integrates the Vision-Language-Action (VLA) and Vision-Language Models (VLM) systems. The VLA driver-assist technology operates independently of connectivity, detecting obstacles like flooded roads and pedestrian blind spots, and supports co-driving at speeds up to 130 km/h. The VLM cabin system introduces innovative features, including a pioneering four-zone external voice control. XPENG plans to roll out VLA software updates in September 2025 and provide free VLM hardware upgrades in November 2025.
Safety enhancements are a priority, with the P7’s body achieving a torsional rigidity of 43,000 Nm/deg through a 16,000-tonne die-casting process. The vehicle features a next-generation automatic emergency braking system effective up to 130 km/h and a novel emergency steering assist designed for icy conditions, enhancing safety in challenging environments.
Performance is a standout feature, with the high-performance model accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and setting a lap record of 1:38.767 at Zhejiang Circuit. Built on an 800V silicon carbide platform, the P7 offers a CLTC-rated range of up to 820 km and ultra-fast charging, adding 525 km of range in just 10 minutes. XPENG stated: “This project combines state-of-the-art infrastructure with quality of life by reducing emissions, odour and the generation of smoke.”
The revamped P7 positions XPENG as a leader in the premium electric sedan market, combining cutting-edge technology, safety, and performance to meet global demand for sustainable mobility.
