In a video address, Wei Haigang, President of GAC International, highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding localized operations and strengthening a global service network that is both efficient and reliable. He emphasized that GAC will continue to focus on customer needs as part of its "Three key initiatives", noting that delivering outstanding customer experience remains a priority.
The launch ceremony included a ribbon-cutting and plaque unveiling, which took place in front of all guests. As the plaque reading "GAC European Spare Parts Distribution Center" was revealed, the first vehicle carrying spare parts departed from the warehouse, marking the center’s official commencement of operations.
According to GAC, the new distribution hub will establish a network covering the European market, providing transparent inventory management, expedited deliveries, and real-time logistics tracking. This system is designed to help dealers obtain spare parts more quickly, ease stock pressure, and enhance the ownership experience for customers in Europe by ensuring efficient and dependable after-sales support.
The Rotterdam center is expected to play a central role in optimizing GAC’s supply chain in Europe, strengthening its ability to deliver timely service to local markets. By offering faster and more reliable parts distribution, the company aims to improve satisfaction among its European customer base and reinforce its brand presence in the region.
Looking ahead, GAC announced plans to establish additional localized warehouses across Europe. These facilities will be tailored to meet the specific requirements of different markets, ensuring flexibility and closer alignment with customer demand. The company noted that expanding this network will help provide consistent, high-quality services across the continent.
The establishment of the European Spare Parts Distribution Center represents an important step in GAC’s international strategy. By situating its operations in Rotterdam, one of Europe’s most significant logistics hubs, the company is well positioned to strengthen its European service infrastructure and support long-term growth in the region.
