ADNOC Gas has signed a long-term natural gas supply agreement valued at between $3.5 billion and $4.2 billion with EMSTEEL, the UAE's leading integrated steel and building materials producer. The 20-year contract, effective from 1 January 2027, will provide stable volumes of lower-carbon natural gas to support EMSTEEL's current operations and future expansion.

The agreement strengthens domestic industrial capability by ensuring reliable energy supply while supporting lower-carbon steel manufacturing processes. It follows recent international LNG commitments by ADNOC Gas, including a three-year supply deal with Germany's SEFE and a heads of agreement with India’s Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
