The East Yorkshire Solar Farm, developed by East Yorkshire Solar Farm Limited, is designed to produce sufficient electricity to supply approximately 100,000 households. The project will connect to the national electricity transmission network via the Drax substation, operated by the National Grid.
According to the developer’s website, the construction of the grid connection cables is expected to take about one year, while the solar PV site itself will require approximately two years to complete.
