Ericsson’s CNIS is a standards-based, system-verified infrastructure solution for both virtual and cloud-native 5G applications. It allows deployment of containers as a service (CaaS) directly on bare metal servers, simplifying the architecture by eliminating the need for a virtualization layer. This setup ensures increased efficiency, flexibility, and reduced complexity in managing network resources.
