MLG will provide a mobile crushing plant featuring an automated sampling system as part of the contract.
The agreement, starting in August 2025, is MLG Oz’s first collaboration with New Murchison Gold. It spans an initial 30-month period, with the possibility of extending up to six additional months. MLG Oz will deploy a mobile crushing plant equipped with an automated sampling system and will manage the operation and maintenance of the equipment throughout the contract term.
Murray Leahy, Managing Director of MLG Oz, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are delighted to have been selected by New Murchison Gold to provide crushing and screening services over the next two to three years as they develop their high-grade gold deposit within their flagship Garden Gully Project.” He added: “We continue to actively expand our crushing and screening capabilities, broadening our reach and market presence across our suite of clients in the gold and iron ore mining sectors.”
The contract is projected to generate around A$500,000 in monthly revenue for MLG Oz. The Crown Prince deposit, a key component of the Garden Gully Project, underscores New Murchison Gold’s focus on developing high-grade gold resources in the region.
This agreement adds to MLG Oz’s recent portfolio of contracts, including a deal with Rio Tinto and another with Fortescue for mining services. Earlier in 2025, MLG Oz also secured a A$75 million contract with Westgold Resources to provide bulk haulage services and supply goods and services across Westgold’s operations in the Western Australia Goldfields.
The new contract with New Murchison Gold strengthens MLG Oz’s position in the mining services sector, particularly in gold and iron ore, as the company continues to expand its operational capabilities and client base in Western Australia’s resource-rich regions.
