
The project involved a comprehensive upgrade of network systems, including the replacement of radio relay systems and base stations, and the deployment of over 1,200 new base stations in the two regions. An official ceremony in Nukus, attended by government officials and media, showcased the project’s outcomes, highlighting its impact on connectivity.
The upgrades have significantly improved service quality for Mobiuz subscribers, boosting internet speeds by 20% in Karakalpakstan and 33% in Khorezm. Data traffic has also increased, rising by 36% and 34% respectively, supporting the growing digital needs of residents and businesses. Independent testing by Uzbekistan’s Republican Center for Telecommunication Networks Control confirmed Mobiuz as the leading provider for internet speed and network reliability in these areas.
