Ming Yang Do Brasil and Blue Aspirations Brasil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly explore offshore wind opportunities throughout the Brazilian market. The collaboration integrates Ming Yang's expertise in fixed and floating offshore wind turbine technology with Blue Aspirations' specialised floating LiDAR systems and local project development capabilities.
Separately, Ming Yang signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with SENAI-RN for the Areia Branca Offshore Wind Pilot Project. This agreement builds on a technical cooperation framework established in 2024 and supports the establishment of Brazil's first offshore wind test and demonstration platform, which has already secured a preliminary environmental licence.
These partnerships reflect Ming Yang's continued commitment to expanding its presence in the Brazilian renewable energy sector and contributing to the country's growing offshore wind industry through technology transfer, local collaboration, and practical demonstration projects. The initiatives are expected to accelerate the development of reliable offshore wind resources and support Brazil's long-term clean energy objectives.
