ProdCorporation plans to export approximately 15,000 tons of food-grade wheat to Vietnam through this route, supporting the country’s agricultural export goals.
Assylkan Dzhuvashev, chairman of the board of ProdCorporation NC JSC, stated: “The new logistics routes reveal access for Kazakhstani farmers to the promising remote markets. The infrastructure built jointly with Chinese partners yields substantial dividends as sustainable and accelerated deliveries.” He further noted: “It is an important step to boost the country’s export potential.”
Since the start of the year, ProdCorporation has exported 196,000 tons of grain, primarily to markets in North America, Southeast Asia, and Iran. Additionally, Kazakhstan previously shipped 300,000 tons of wheat to North Africa and Morocco, demonstrating its growing role in global grain trade.
The multimodal route, combining rail and sea transport, enhances the efficiency of Kazakhstan’s grain exports. The collaboration with Chinese logistics partners at Lianyungang Port streamlines the process, ensuring reliable and timely deliveries to international markets. This initiative strengthens Kazakhstan’s position as a key agricultural exporter and supports the expansion of its trade networks in Southeast Asia.
