The Charge Plus network includes Singapore’s largest public charging system, which accounts for over 30% market share. It also extends to highway charging stations covering more than 5,000 kilometers across the region. By connecting with this infrastructure, XPENG strengthens its global charging ecosystem while providing localized support for its core models, including the G6, G9, and X9, all of which feature 800V ultra-fast charging technology.
This collaboration makes XPENG the first Chinese new energy vehicle startup to achieve simultaneous integration of charging access across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The coverage includes north-south highway corridors in all three countries, which are important routes for long-distance driving and regional connectivity.
XPENG-branded charging stations are already in operation in the three countries, with some equipped with ultra-fast chargers delivering up to 350 kW. By the end of this year, XPENG owners will have access to exclusive charging discounts, real-time station availability displayed directly in their vehicles, and one-click navigation to charging sites. These features are designed to enhance convenience and optimize the charging experience for drivers.
Looking forward, XPENG stated that it plans to launch seamless app-based payments across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand by the end of 2025. This upgrade will support a “plug-and-charge” service, enabling drivers to begin and complete charging sessions without manual transactions. The company expects this to further simplify the user experience and encourage adoption of its charging services in overseas markets.
At the same time, XPENG continues to expand its domestic network. As of September 23, the company had built around 2,600 self-operated charging stations across China, with more than 80% of them classified as ultra-fast. The company aims to increase this number to over 3,000 by the end of 2025, reinforcing its position in the Chinese charging sector.
The integration with Charge Plus demonstrates XPENG’s strategy of combining domestic growth with international expansion. By ensuring charging infrastructure both at home and abroad, the company is positioning itself to support the long-term development of its vehicle lineup and enhance its competitiveness in the global new energy vehicle market.
