The National Engineering Bureau (NEB), a local firm, is responsible for the design, engineering, regulatory approvals, and on-site supervision of the 17-story tower. The structure will offer 150,000 square feet of leasable space, including nine floors for offices tailored to businesses in venture capital, investment, and artificial intelligence.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a free-trade zone managed by a sovereign wealth fund, and REIT Development, a real estate company. The tower aims to support the growing digital economy by providing specialized infrastructure for innovative enterprises.
“Crypto Tower is set to become a cornerstone of the digital economy in the UAE, and we are committed to delivering a service that reflects its innovation, ambition, and impact. At NEB, we have always believed in shaping the future of urban development – and this project exemplifies that ethos,” said Jamil Jadallah, chief executive of NEB.
“Serving as a physical anchor for DMCC’s growing community of over 3,400 tech companies – including more than 700 within our Crypto Centre – the tower will provide premium, purpose-built office space for the next generation of digital enterprises,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chair of DMCC.
The Crypto Tower aligns with Dubai’s vision to foster innovation in the digital and blockchain sectors. By offering tailored office spaces, the project supports the expansion of DMCC’s Crypto Centre, which hosts a significant portion of the region’s technology and digital asset businesses.
The development is expected to enhance Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital innovation, providing a dedicated space for companies driving advancements in blockchain and related technologies. The collaboration between DMCC, REIT Development, and NEB underscores a commitment to creating infrastructure that supports sustainable growth in the digital economy.
This project marks a significant step in integrating cutting-edge technology with urban development, positioning Dubai as a leader in the global digital asset landscape. The Crypto Tower is poised to attract businesses seeking to capitalize on the growing opportunities in decentralized technologies, further strengthening the UAE’s role in the global tech ecosystem.
