The consortium of organisations will work together to facilitate the development of geothermal energy projects in country.

DGeG is a geology services provider offering robust solutions based on an innovative integrated digital geology approach. The group has worked in a variety of energy fields, including petroleum, karst geohazards, carbon capture and storage, geothermal, and mining.
IGM is a society with a broad scope of responsibilities in Malaysia. One of those responsibilities is to assist, advise and cooperate with government departments and other private or public bodies in an honorary capacity on questions relating to the science of geology and policy in respect of land and earth resource utilisation and all other matters connected therewith.
“IGM serves as the central institution for professional geologist development in Malaysia. This initiative fosters knowledge exchange between local and international experts to promote geothermal energy as a key component of the country’s green energy agenda. The company had also recently entered a strategic partnership for a geothermal desalination project in Southern California.

It was witnessed by representatives from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA): Yb Lee Chean Chung, Member of Authority, Ybrs Dr Nurmazilah Dato’ Mahzan, Member of Authority and Mr. Koh Keng Sen, Chief Operating Officer.
