
The collaboration emphasizes the development of 5G applications, particularly for Vietnam’s railway sector. Ericsson will provide guest lecturers, workshops, and training focused on 5G technology, with a special emphasis on its use in high-speed rail systems. This initiative supports Vietnam’s efforts to expand its 5G infrastructure and prepare a skilled workforce for its digital economy goals.

The partnership supports Vietnam’s ambition to become a digital economy by leveraging 5G technology. Ericsson will collaborate with the Ministries of Education and Transport and Science and Technology to support upskilling programs. The University–Industry Cooperation Forum served as a platform to foster collaboration among academia, industry, and government, promoting innovation and building a high-quality workforce to drive Vietnam’s technological advancement.
