
With this capability, enterprise users can utilize a dedicated slice of Singtel’s 5G network for specific applications that use Apple’s traffic categories such as Streaming and Communication. It also supports applications managed through compatible Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms. The technology is based on User Equipment Route Selection Policy, allowing prioritization of data traffic and allocation of dedicated network resources to critical applications.
Singtel will provide a specific network slice tailored for voice and video-based productivity applications. This includes platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, and other business tools managed through MDM. The goal is to meet the connectivity needs of enterprises across different sectors.
The service is available on iPhone 14 and newer models running iOS 18.2 or later, as well as on selected iPad models that support iPadOS 18.2 or later.
